What happened?
Appearantly DICE has made an error in the code somewhere, misspelling "receive".
This might be the reason the ingame voip is messed up, but is the reason the hitboxes are fucked up.
What can you do to fix it?
Go to your documents folder, look for the 'bfbc2' folder, open it.
Make a backup of the 'settings.ini' file.
Leave the 'bfbc2' folder open on your desktop; you are going to need it in a few secs.
Start up the game, Go to the 'Server browser'.
Check the ping of the server you want to play at in "IN THE SERVER BROWSER", remember it!
Exit game.
Go back to the 'bfbc2' folder, edit 'settings.ini' file (notepad or so)
Scroll down to the end of the file. Below the text "FOV="
Under that, copy and paste the following lines:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'SettingsManager.floatSet GSDefaultLatencyCompensation 0.0620000
SettingsManager.U32Set GSInterpolationTime 62')Now, take a closer look at those lines. Notice that the value in both lines is 62?
Edit those values into the server ping, in other words change the 62 into the ping you shoul've remembered.
and exit and save the file.
Start up game, happy fragging!
