Ow yeah i meant, something went wrong when they try to merge the friends lists. so they disabled the merging for now until they can fix it (and start updating again :'( )

They changed the message to:
"We're currently looking into issues with the Origin friends list and game launching. If you are unable to join games after the patch: Right click BF3 in Origin and choose “Repair install” to fix the problem. "

ow and apparently i needed to 'repair' my installation, scanning 16,5gb and downloading a 100mb patch... the bullshit continues

@update, uhh yeah this was on the idle account that does not have premium. maybe all non premium users now must download the premium data. (yes that makes no sense at all but this is ea/dice)
