Getting kicked

When I try playing on your 24/7 metro server, once I connect and play for a few mins, I'm getting kicked with reason "Missing ping"

Has anyone a clue on whats wrong?

Hi,

We decided to kick players for not having a ping in game.
This is due to players from other parts of the world connecting to our server and blocking their ping, so they won't get kicked for a high ping.

Having a real high ping is an advantage for these players as they are harder to kill.

So, you have to make sure your ping is visible in game. If not, you will get kicked again.

Huh, I didn't even know I'm hiding my ping, any idea on how to make my ping visible then?

Edit: I've enabled ICMP pinging on my firewall and router as suggested by others who have that problem but that doesn't seem to solve it, still getting kicked.

Still not working for some reason.. From all the servers I visited, your was the only one which has no cheaters crawling around, I've tried port forwarding and other kinds of "fixes" without luck.

Hmm too bad. Whitelisting is not working then. Need to fix that.

I've disabled this feature for now. You should be able to join without issues now.
You might want to look for the cause though, because we really want this feature active.

There are too many players from South America joining our servers and blocking their ping to avoid being kicked.

I see, well from what I've found, it definitely has to do with the ICMP but I've enabled it everywhere possible and also opened the required ports, maybe I'm not doing something right, although I'm sure I am lol.

Don't wna be annoying lol but I'm getting kicked again, I tried whatever I could find on the internet about the pinging and I've no idea what else I could do.
