Dice/AMD's "Mantle" driver and the new game update.

Dice / AMD has released a new driver technique "Mantle" it requires the game update and AMD's 14.1beta catalyst (Yet to be released. (Beta driver page)
Mantle replaces the rendering engine from microsoft which is currently DirectX11
Basicly it has an even more direct access to the video rendering engine as a result it unloads the work for the CPU.


News "AMD Catalyst 14.1 Beta will support ALL desktop GCN products, though we are working with EA to further optimize performance on 280X, 270X, HD 7000 and HD 8000. We have asked EA to update their blog to reflect this."
News, (31-01-2014, AMD's 14.1beta (Mantle) driver has been delayed.
