Hi.

The ban has been in place for a couple of weeks...when I try and join the server, I get a message saying something along the lines of "you have been banned from this server due to breach of kdr/accuracy limit (temporary 1440)".

I'm not sure how many rounds I've played on the server, probably not many, but I know there's been a couple of rounds where I've gone like 40/2 and 30/1...so it's probably due to kdr as oppose to accuracy (my accuracy is ~6%). Can the ban be lifted?

We have scripts in place to kick players with a certain KDR or accuracy.
That's our decision and that won't change.

Recently we have changed the kicks to a 1 day temp-ban because we get a lot of cheaters since Punkbuster is completely useless.
Players can now join servers while having a PB global ban.

This temp ban makes it easier for us to spot those players and report them.

So I'm sorry for the ban... but our scripts will keep kicking you.
For the record: I don't think you cheat.

Thanks for letting me know. Out of curiousity, how does the script work...is it overall kd (for example, my overall kd is currently 4.38), or is it server based (my kd on your server)? And what are the thresholds...ie what kdr does the script deem too high?
