Hello everyone,

I was wondering, why there isn't a commander slot on the conquest server.
Is this for a reason? Would make the game much more interesting since commanders can help out players a lot.

And because I need my commander assignments completed which I would like to finish on your server, instead of some other crappy server.. hehe

We disabled the commander mode months ago, because there was an exploit crashing the servers.

I personally never regretted removing the Commander slots for these reasons:

0. The crash exploit to begin with (but fixed)
1. Almost no players listen to Commanders orders any ways.
2. Commanders just spam their orders, which is pretty annoying as squad leader
3. It's annoying when there is only ONE commander active; this can cause unbalanced matches
4. No more annoying Cruise Missiles or Gun Ships either

I don't think we will re-add Commander mode to our servers in the future.

Hmm, it seems that you're pretty alone with that opinion because our conquest server is currently on rank 5 in gametracker ranking ... world wide!
