Hi guys,

I'm just curious about the usage of the EOD Bot on Metro.
I was just banned for 30 mins ( it has been and gone :) ) with

"ERROR
Game disconnected: you have been banned from this server. Stated reason: [Auto-Admin] Gr33nm44n banned 30 minutes for using Mortar!(Temporary/30)"

Am I to assume it is banned on the sever, as I have had a look at the server rules and didn't notice anything there.

Hey Gr33nm44n,

unfortunately the EOD-Bot is registered as kill-weapon "DEATH" through the server's RCON protocol, which is the same as the Mortar and every other vehicle in the game.

The only way to punish mortar abuse is to check for kill-weapon "DEATH".
So, while the EOD-Bot is not really forbidden in the rules... it is forbidden by our auto-admin...
